Finally no snow day and the kids get to visit the library!! We read one of my favorite books "If You Take a Mouse to the Movies" by Laura Numeroff. Many of the students were familiar with the many books written by this author. We talked about Ms. Numeroff and her job as the author of the book and Felicia Bond and her role as the illustrator. This book is a circle book- if starts with the mouse going to the movies and ends with him going to the movies. After reading the story we played memory as a whole class using pictures from the book. The last 20 min. of library we had book check-out and computer time.
