Preschool April 12,13 and 15

Welcome back from spring break. It was so great to everyone back to school this week- I especially enjoyed hearing about your spring break adventures! This week we read some "rainy" books during library. The 3's read Move Over, Rover by Karen Beaumont and Rain by Maya Stoic. We also sang a song about rainy weather and played with rhythm sticks- when you hit them on the carpet it sounds like a rainstorm! (Although one of my students told me it sounds like a running horse) The 4's also read Move Over, Rover by Karen Beaumont, sang and played with the rhythm sticks, but then we read The Rain Came Down by David Shannon. The ice cream parties will be in two weeks- the Tuesday classes will be on April 26th, Wed. classes on the 27th and Friday classes on the 29th. The last week of April will also be our last week for book check-out.
