Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits!!
This week in library we read rabbit books. The 3's read The Little Rabbit Who Liked to Say Moo by Jonathan Allen. In this story a rabbit tries out different animals sounds- at the end of the book he says his favorite sound is "WOOF" We then sang "Old Macdonald" and read Little Bunny Foo Foo and The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown. The 4's read Muncha, Muncha, Muncha by Candace Fleming- this is a wonderful story about three hungry rabbits who find their way into Mr. McGreely's garden. We then read and sang "Little Bunny Foo Foo". Each class has already received several 20 book finishers for the cool reader ice cream promotion- please keep reading with your child! They are so excited to get their invite to the ice cream party in the library.
