Preschool Jan. 13 & 14

Welcome back! It feels like I haven't seen the kids in a long time- the snow days seem to throw us all off! This week in library we read books about the letter "P". The 3's listened to If You Give A Pig A Pancake by Laura Numeroff and Peek In My Pocket by David Carter. We sang the "piggy pokey" and guessed what was in the pockets of my apron. the 4's listened to A Pocket For Corduroy by Don Freeman and Peek in My Pocket by David Carter. I like to read the corduroy books because it gives me a chance to talk about some unfamiliar words which is a good way to increase your child's vocabulary. Next week we will be reading books about toys and trains!
