Preschool 3's & 4's October 26

Happy Halloween!! For the 4's library time we read a couple of "scary" books. One of my favorite books to read at this time of the year is The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. I read it once through and then we tell the story together with sound effects and motions. The kids really love this book! I finished our story time with Go Away Big Green Monster by Ed Emberley. This is a die cut book that allows the reader to create the monster, then tell him to go away and as the pages turn he disappears. For the 3's library time we read Corduroy's Halloween and Happy Halloween Biscuit and had fun with two pumpkin fingerplays.
