It was great to see everyone in library after missing two weeks due to Spring Break. Next week, April 23rd, we will be having the cool reader ice cream parties in the library. Thanks again for your participation! This week in library we talked about weather and read one of my favorite books- Thundercake by Patricia Palacco. Thundercake is the story of how Patricia Polacco conquered her fear of Michigan thunderstorms with the help of her grandmother. After reading the story we talked about thunder and lightning and looked at a non-fiction book about weather. Many of the children took home a copy of the recipe for Thundercake- let me know if you made it(or send me a picture to post!!)
