Happy Spring!! Only 6 more weeks of library. This year has gone by so fast!! Your children are wonderful and I have loved getting to know them this year. The theme for this week is "Rain". The 3 year olds read the books Little Cloud by Eric Carle and The Wind Blew by Pat Hutchins. After reading Little Cloud we looked at pictures of clouds and talked about what they looked like- there was a tree cloud, boat cloud and even a birthday cake cloud!!
The 4 year olds read The Rain Came Down by David Shannon and Move Over, Rover by Karen Beaumont. We also had fun making rain sounds and singing with sticks.
The ice cream parties for the preschool will be the week of April 26th during library time. It is a special treat to eat ice cream in the library!!
