Preschool 4's Sept. 20th

Today was the first day the 4 year old preschool classes visited the library. I was happy to see some familar faces and to meet some new friends. I read two books about going to school- Splat the Cat by Rob Scotton and Clifford's First School Day by Norman Bridwell. We also sang the song "This is the way we go to school"- they came up with some good ideas for getting to school, such as driving to school, jumping jack to school, marching to school and running to school. Next week we will read some ABC books and talk further about library rules. Out first week of check-out will be October 4th.
