We had a great time in the library today. I enjoyed meeting your children and sharing with them about my family and my favorite books. We read the story "Quiet! There is a Canary in the Library" by Don Freeman. We talked about being respectful by listening to others and using our quiet voices in the library. After reading the story I told them about Remy the Reading Rat who lives in the library. Remy loves to read and eat cheese! He also loves to play hide and seek. Next week will be the first week for library check-out and we will talk about taking good care of our library books.
