Preschool February 8, 9

Loud & Quiet- this week we explored opposites by talking about things that are loud and quiet. We read the books The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle, Dog's Noisy Day by Emma Dodd and Can You Growl Like a Bear? by John Butler. We sang "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" quietly, loudly, fast and slow and then we sorted animals into loud and quiet groups. March is reading month at the ECC and at the end of February I will be sending home the "Cool Reader" ice cream promotion. Our goal is for every child at the ECC to read 20 books during the month of March.
