Welcome to the library!! This week was the first week for book check-out. We read the story What Happened to Marion's Book by Brooke Berg. Ask your child what happened to Marion's book and what she tried to do to fix it. After reading the story we talked about how important it is to take good care of our library books so everyone can enjoy reading them. Your child's book was sent home in a library bag- please use this bag to bring their book to and from school. I reminded the kids not to throw away their library bag. Library day for PreK is Friday- for your child to be able to check-out a library book each Friday they need to return their book from the previous week. Please return library books by Thursday so we know who will need a reminder to bring their book on Friday.
