PreK September 30th

This week in library we read the book Alligator Baby by Robert Munsch. In this book the parents get lost on the way to the hospital to have their baby and they end up at the zoo. Ask your child what kind of babies they brought home-they were not people babies! After the story we talked about the fiction section of the library and reviewed using the library card as a shelf marker to ensure that every book stays in its "house" when it is on the shelf. Probably the most exciting thing we did in library was start computers! They were definitely very enthused about using the computers. We start by working on mouse skills for the next few weeks.
