Preschool Nov. 16 and 17

G is for Goldilocks!! This week in library we read the story of The Three Bears by Byron Barton and then they helped me retell the story using flannelboard pieces. The 3's also listened to Lunch by Denise Fleming and we talked about what fruits and vegetables they like to eat. After telling the story of Goldilocks I was pleased that several students asked me what happened to baby bears chair...because next I was going to read A Chair for Baby Bear by Kaye Umansky. Ask your child what kind of chair baby bear got to replace the broken one. Next week is Thanksgiving so no library and the following week the book fair will be in the library (Nov. 30 - Dec. 3) so the kids will only check-out a book (there will be no storytime) Please visit the book fair when you drop your child off for school- there is a great selection of kids books and a percentage of every purchase helps me buy more books for the library.
