Preschool Nov. 9 and 10

H is for houses! This week in library we read the story of the three little pigs and then I retold the story using puppets. Retelling a story with your child helps develop their narrative skills which is one of the areas to help get your child ready to read. The 3's also read The Napping House by Audrey Wood and we got out sticks to sing along with the story. The 4's also read Ouch! by Ragnhild Scammell and A bed for the Winter as we talked about homes for animals. Next week we will work on narrative skills again as we read and retell Goldilocks and the 3 bears.
