Happy Thanksgiving!! Today in library we made story soup. We talked about the different parts of a story- the author, characters, illustrator, paper, crayons, pencils and words- we mixed it all together in a pot and made a story! The story I read is D.W. Picky Eater by Marc Brown- a fun story!! Remy visited us and told the kids he was going to eat cheese turkey, cheesy potatoes and cheese pie for Thanksgiving. There will be no library the week after Thanksgiving. The book fair starts on November 30th and will be open every day until Saturday December 3rd. Stop in to shop- books make great Christmas gifts and a percentage of every purchase helps me get new books for the library!!
