Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs!! This week we read and talked about dinosaurs in the library. All of the classes read the non-fiction book Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs by Byron Barton and we talked about meat eaters and plant eaters. I showed them some toy dinosaurs and we talked about the different kinds of dinosaurs. We also read Dino-Pets by Lynn Plourde and sang the "Dino Pokey". The kids love the dinosaur books- and when kids enjoy a story it makes it so much more enjoyable to share it with them. If your child just wants to read snake books or dinosaur books that is OK- what is important is that you spend time reading with them!
