January 18 & 19 Preschool
P is for pigs and pockets! I love to play guessing games with the kids and this week gives me a chance to see if they can guess what is in my pockets! I use an apron with eight pockets and give them clues about what is in the pockets. This is a great game you could play at home- guess the farm animals, guess the rhyming word, guess the items that start with letter "p". The 3's read If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff and Peek in my Pocket by David Carter. The 4's read A Pocket for Corduroy by Don Freeman and Peek in my Pocket by David Carter. The corduroy book gives us a chance to talk about new words- laundromat, damp and drowsy. Have a great week!!
