This week in library we talked about pets. Mrs. Pope and I talked about our pets and the children shared what they had been learning in class about how to take care of pets. We talked about the author Steven Kellogg and read his book "Can I Keep Him" about a little boy who brings home a dog, cat, tiger, dinosaur and ends up with no pet but a little boy next door who wants to be his friend. This book is 40 years old but still a wonderful story full of imagination! Mrs. Pope worked with the students on the computers as they continued to explore KidPix. Next week we will be reading some bedtime stories!!
