Today we talked about the three little pigs. First I read The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig by Eugene Trivizas. There are so many great variations of the story of the three little pigs and the kids really enjoy hearing a familiar story from a different angle. Another fun book with a retelling of the three little pigs is The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka - you can find this at the public library for a fun storytime at your house! The kids also enjoyed the three little pigs puppet show I performed for them - ask them who was the mama pig.
