Happy Halloween!!
We read some fun halloween stories in library this week. The 3's read a new book by Rebecca and Ed Emberly called If You're A Monster and You Know it. We sang along to the story and then read Clifford's Halloween. The 4's read one of my favorite not so scary books The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. In this story a lady is followed home by shoes, a shirt, pants, gloves, hat and pumpkin head- it turns out to be a scarecrow. This is a great book and the repetition encourages the kids to participate with the story. No library for Tuesday classes next week due to professional development day.
