PreK January 20th

We are starting our "kids as authors" unit in library this week. After reading Arthur Writes a Story by Marc Brown we will start writing a story with each class. We talked about how a story has a title, words, pictures, characters, problems and solutions. Each student will "write" their own page of the story and in a few weeks we will illustrate our story to make a book for their classroom. On the computers we continued exploring KidPix. Thank you for continuing to return your library books and if your child took home a book on cassette or CD making sure they returned all of the parts!!
