"O" is for ocean this week in library. All of the classes will be hearing Three Little Fish and the Big Bad Shark by Ken Geist. After I read the story I retell it again using stuffed animals. Last fall I read the Three Little Pigs and I am hoping they make the connection between the two stories- "This sounds like the big bad wolf story Mrs. DenBesten". The 3's will also hear Fidgety Fish and then we will sing along with the flannelboard song Slippery Fish. The 4's will enjoy "I'm the Biggest in the Ocean" and "Fidgety Fish". The cool reader ice cream reading promotion starts on March 1st. I will send home information the last week of February.
