Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits! We read rabbit books this week- to celebrate spring(soon I hope!) and the letter "R". We talked about how rabbits eat carrots, hop fast, live in holes in the ground and have a mother and father! The 3's read Runaway Bunny by Margaret Brown- I love this book for the beautiful illustrations, and though it is an older book the kids enjoy the story. The 4's enjoyed the story Muncha, Muncha, Muncha by Candace Fleming. Both classes counted bunnies and sang along with the rhyme "10 little bunnies". Keep on reading to fill out the ice cream reading sheets. Each of my classes has at least one child who has finished and received their award certificate. We have 3 more weeks until the last day for turn in, March 31st.
