Preschool March 1st

Q is for quiet and quack. This week we had fun reading Little Quack by Lauren Thompson and The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle. I tell them they have to be very quiet to hear the surprise at the end of the book-I love to see their faces when they hear the cricket chirping! We also sang along with "Five little ducks" and "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" and to stay with our quiet theme we sang them quietly and then loudly. I was pleased that some of the my students have started reading for the cool reader program. Keep up the good work!! Next week we will be reading rabbit books.
