Preschool October 7th

Down on the Farm is the theme for library this week. With the 3's we read The Cow Who Clucked by Denise Fleming and Fancy Farmyard Dressup by Nick Sharratt. We also sang "Old Macdonald" and I had them name the different farm animals they knew. The 4's listened to Big Chickens by Leslie Helakoski and Fancy Farmyard Dressup by Nick Sharratt. We sang the "Piggy Pokey" and "Old MacDonald". Almost all of the library books were returned this week-thank you for remembering to bring them back. Birthday book envelopes for October birthdays will be going home in Friday folders this week. Next week we will read books about lions and libraries!
